  5. SSPI is a monitoring and performance-tuning tool for systems based on UNIX
  6. System V. It gathers system performance information from outside kernel space,
  7. presents it in an intuitive way and optionally stores it for later analysis.
  8. Users can target precisely those resources which require analysis. It is even
  9. possible for experienced users to write their own gather daemons and so extend
  10. SSPI. Finally, information gathered by SSPI can be passed to an intelligent
  11. kernel configuration for automatic system tuning.
